In-Process Measurement of Barkhausen Noise for Detection of Surface Integrity during Grinding

چکیده
The Barkhausen noise (BN) analysis is a method increasingly used for the post-process assessment of thermo-mechanical surface damages from grinding and has several advantages compared with established nital etching method. In-process measurement BN not been industrially yet, but basics have already developed promise time savings by avoiding spent on inspections after grinding. Furthermore, it bears potential optimization processes and, in perspective, process control. In present work, suitability in-process detection thermo-mechanically influenced near-surface regions was assessed. Case-hardened workpieces were ground, signals related to properties subsurface area, particular residual stresses, microstructure hardness results show clear dependency layer that allows an detrimental changes state. Special attention paid differences between measured signals, different parameters investigated.

in the present study, the effect of e-64 at different concentrations (0.5, 1, 5 and 10 µm) added to (1) the ivm medium on oocyte nuclear maturation and developmental competence of ovine oocytes, and (2) to the ivc medium on embryonic development of ovine embryos were investigated.
THE EFFECT OF GRINDING TIME ON THE SPECIFIC SURFACE AREA DURING INTENSIVE GRINDING OF MINERAL POWDERS
Abstract: the changes of BET surface area of a mineral substance during intensive grinding process. Validity of the proposedmodel was tested by the experiments performed using a natural chalcopyrite mineral as well as the published data. Itwas shown that the model can predict the experimental results with a very good accuracy and can be used to predictwhat may happen under the similar experimen...
متن کاملsimulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
